Back.
Have been really lazy to do anything, including going online. All i do these days are sleep, eat, play, and sleep again.
I bones are really really heavy.
Sorry Anna, for not visiting you while i was in Singapore. I forgot that you were studying in Singapore, bad memory. But hey! I think i just met you on last Wednesday in Sunway right? =D
Ah... time to add some words under these photos. *lazy*
It's been at least 5 years i haven't been to Singapore.
The decision of going there was made so suddenly as if Singapore was just a 5 minute drive from my house. Aunt bought my bus ticket on Friday morning, and we need to catch the bus on that night 8.30pm itself.
Listen, i'm not going there for pure fun ok~ I've got responsibility on me.
Aunt need to get her bladder 'fixed' back right in where it was suppose to be_means operation lah. So, i was there to company & also 'take care' of her. It turns out she didn't really need it.
Ya, except from helping her to carry her luggage and help her to spend more money.
She went to check in to the hospital straight away after we got off the bus, at 1am in the morning. And then i followed Uncle Robert back to his house in Bukit Panjang.
Saturday morning, after a breakfast and sending Uncle Robert's Mini Cooper to fix, i was dropped off at the Esplanade Park to start my journey of discovery. Before i came to Singapore, I told my self not to loose the chance to be 'arty-fartsy' when im in Singapore.
I was so serious that i even bought a 'Lonely Planet' guide book from the Times bookshop in Marina Square. Which was actually quite a waste. All i needed was a map of MRT and bus routes. Instead, i bought a RM60++ guide book.
I didn't realise how stupid i was when i bought it.
Anyway, i made full use of it.
I like this work by Blair Rood outside the art space.Ermm... i can't take photos IN the art space, so this was the only one i took.
There's also another work which i like by Shiah Chyi Yun, inside the space, which were 'words' or 'object' 'trying' to pretend to be other object...
Get what i mean? Nope, i guess you don't, coz i don't know what i am talking about also.

This is the outlook of Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay. Which look like a big durian or alien spacecraft from far, or near. There are a lot of very nice, amazing looking and magnificent architecture in Singapore, and i really like them. Good for you Anna, for studying Architecture there.
Hmm... this artwork outside the Esplanade Park sort of reminds me of a folk tale of Singapore. Will check it out. I remember i read it from somewhere before. And then, from the Esplanade Park, i walked to Marina Square Complex...
Look what i found?! MUJI in Marina Square! Olala...now i don't need to fly to Japan to buy MUJI products.Long Live MUJI!!
Gorgeous huh! So sexy from every angle.Believe it or not, i have one also. Heavily pimped kaw-kaw one somemore.
In my Need For Speed-Undercover.
I think the Singapore government is doing a very good job in pushing the art scene there. Sculptures and outdoor artwork like these are spread around the city. Unlike some stupid neighbour of Singapore...
Ah, i am tired of complaining the same bloody things over and over again...
I will join PKR once i'm 21yrs old.
After
And then, i went to Geylang for dinner with Uncle Robert and his friend - Sam, on Saturday night, after paying a visit to my aunt in the hospital.
Walked for very lonh before we settle down in a restaurant.
Frog legs! it goes well with the plain porridge served. The gravy taste really good, cooked with onion, ginger and balck sauce, the frogs limbs were fresh. The flesh were so smooth it actually 'slip' down my throat.Ok, thats all for day 1 of a 'bag-pack-traveller-wannabe'. For the rest of the days, go to the next post. =D
